Tips for Cake Topper placement!
When we design our cake toppers, we try our best to position the stake in the middle of the design. This allows you to have flexibility to the placement of the cake topper. More often than not, the topper will be positioned in the middle of the cake.
If you are unsure how to position your topper on your cake, a fantastic tip from Jenne at Posh Little Cakes, is to put your decorations on first and position the topper last. You want the cake decoration to look balanced on the cake; so don't have the topper and the florals on one side and nothing on the other side.
Another tip is to cover the stake with macaroons or whatever confectionary you want. The idea is to make the stake invisible and the text to be floating above the florals or sitting directly on the icing. We design our toppers to a length of 90mm, so this gives you enough length to position high or low.
Happy cake decorating!
